The sudden lockdown has disrupted learning in Aotearoa again. We are postponing our Having fun with the science capabilities webinar to 16 September.

Instead Andrea and Greta will use our time at 4pm on 19 August to offer free support for teachers, other educators and/or parents.

Distance learning resources

We offer a variety of resources that support distance learning for anyone who is teaching and learning at home – start with our article Support for distance learning. This will help you easily find resources on our site and is organised into sections that are designed to meet various needs.

Science is everywhere and there are lots of simple science activities that require very few resources. Check out the article Learning science from home – ideas to deepen learning which is full of helpful tips.

Many of our resources are downloadable and can be printed and distributed. They can also then be uploaded into Microsoft or Google Classrooms.
