9:00 am-1:00 pm

Region(s): Wellington

Get hands-on at Space Place with tasty, edible science these school holidays! Science Bites is an edible science workshop for tamariki aged 8–12 years old.

Learn about rainbow diffraction chocolate, make your own gummy worms, explore some glow-in-the-dark jelly, and more! All the projects in this workshop are safe to eat, meaning kids can taste their creations as they learn.

Tamariki will be excited to come home and share their new understanding of how science can be found in our everyday lives, even our kitchens!

Workshops include a complimentary planetarium show.

This school holiday programme will run each Tuesday and Thursday of the school holidays, from 9:00 am–1:00 pm, suitable for ages 8–12 years, $65 per tamariki.

Dates: 23, 25, 30 September and 2 October.
