Join Greta Dromgool and Andrea Soanes on Wednesday 20 May for a session that will introduce you to ‘Lux’ – a dedicated community space for teachers to develop their understanding of science and science education.
Lux is on online space for sharing exciting resources, supporting innovative practice and building capability and confidence.
In this live webinar, we will show you the School Kit online community space – what is the Lux space, how to use it, and ways to engage with each other and the Science Learning Hub team.

We collaborate with the School Kit Squad for the livestreaming of our webinars.
If you are a member of the School Kit squad already, fantastic! Please register to attend using this link and check out the Lux space and RSVP through School Kit.
If you are not a member of the School Kit squad, we welcome you to our Lux space – a place where science educators can connect and learn together. Please register to attend the webinar using this link. You will receive an email the day before the webinar with a link that brings you into our Lux space and access to the webinar live stream.

Joining School Kit
You will need to sign in to the School Kit to enter the live stream webinar. It's a straightforward sign-up and you'll just need to create a username and password to get in. We encourage you to do this prior to the event and also RSVP through School Kit.
Follow these simple steps to join the webinar:
Sign in to School Kit Lux space.
It will ask you to create a profile, we encourage you to do so.
Under the tab ‘Events and Webinars’ you will see the Exploring the Lux space on School Kit webinar.
Click the RSVP button and select ‘Going’.
Joining the webinar
You will receive an email before the webinar live stream with a link to the School Kit Lux space.
Sign in to School Kit.
Under the tab ‘Events and Webinars’ you will see the Exploring the Lux space on School Kit webinar.
Select the RSVP button and then select ‘Going’.
To join in – click the live stream button on the top of the Lux page. Alternatively, go to the ‘Events and Webinars’ calendar section, select the Exploring the Lux space on School Kit webinar. You should see a clock counting down to the 4 pm start time.
Then you can:
watch, listen and respond via chat to the presentation and discussion
ask questions using the chat at any time
The Science Learning Hub team will be there to support you and answer questions.
