In association with Critter of the Week and the New Zealand Red Cross, RNZ is running a Knit a Critter competition! Create a knitted creation out of pure wool representing one of New Zealand's amazing native critters and send it and some photos of it to RNZ.
It can be shaped like the critter or knitted critter image on an item of clothing like a beanie or another creative idea you come up with. It's up to you!
For any wearable items, do please use pure wool.
All the entries will go to the Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre for new refugee families.
