6–7 pm
Region(s): Wellington
Type(s): presentations
The Royal Society Te Apārangi and it's Wellington Branch will host a free public lecture by Professor Patricia Hunt.
Patricia Hunt is Professor of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry in the School of Chemical Physical Sciences at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
Patricia's group undertakes theoretical development and applies computational modelling to address a range of problems and projects within inorganic, materials and bio-related chemistry.
In this talk, Patricia will highlight the non-traditional features of hydrogen-bonding exhibited by ionic liquids and explore how to conceptualise hydrogen bonding within ionic liquids.
