#TeachMeetNZ Science
This #TeachMeetNZ science session was broadcast live on 21 March 2015. There was a fantastic line up of New Zealand educators sharing their science teaching experiences as well as special overseas guest Adam Taylor (founder of #scistuchat).
The session was hosted by Cath Battersby from the Science Learning Hub and Sonya Van Shaijik, who set up the TeachMeet project in New Zealand. There were nine mini presentations (all under 3 minutes each) which you can view on YouTube below.

I had been inspired enough to go out and do something different in class.
I thought it was excellent! ... the material covered was very relevant and when I showed it to the secondary grads in class last week they also considered it very useful for them as early teachers.

About the TeachMeetNZ project
TeachMeetNZ was about New Zealand teachers connecting online. The project reflected the research and work of New Zealand educators in action. The live events were convened across all education sectors to address the emerging technologies, trends, and challenges poised to significantly impact teaching and learning. TeachMeetNZ started live streaming in May 2013 but currently is no longer active.
