Extraction and analysis of fruit components

This experiment involves the extraction and analysis of fruit components. Students will understand that food is made up of many chemical components and that chromatography is one method that can be used to separate specific molecules out of food.

This experiment was designed by Dr Dawei Deng from Plant & Food Research, Hamilton.
