Sir Hekenukumai Busby

Sir Hek Busby on the day he received his knighthood at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, in February 2019. He sits alongside Dame Jacinda Ardern, who was Prime Minister at the time.

Sir Hek was honoured for his lifetime of work as a Te Taitokerau leader, master carver and celestial navigator.
