Lake Moawhitu

Coastal Lake Moawhitu, D’Urville Island.

Lake Moawhitu is a coastal lake on the remote Rangitoto ki te Tonga D’Urville Island. Restoration teams are hoping to turn around decades of damage caused by deforestation, wetland drainage and pollution.
