Waitete Stream

Waitete Stream, Waihi with labels identifying plants.

Waitete Stream in Waihi is an example of a well planted stream. The cabbage tree/tī kōuka (Cordyline australis) is fast growing and good for bank stabilisation, making it a good choice for restoring streams.
