New Zealand glacier inventory

May of New Zealand's 3,000+ glaciers

New Zealand has more than 3,000 known glaciers – each represented by a red dot. Dr Trevor Chinn compiled the inventory and has recorded annual changes to a group of glaciers each year since the 1970s.
