The conference is designed for teachers and researchers at all levels of technology education and will provide opportunities to connect with, and learn from, other members of the community as well as get up to date with new products, tools and opportunities that support students’ learning in technology.
From hands-on creativity to future-focused innovation, the TENZ 2025 programme offers an inspiring mix of practice, pedagogy and possibility to empower kaiako.
With over 50 sessions spanning the full spectrum of technology education – from food, textiles, DVC, and STEAM to digital, vocational, and emerging tech – there’s something for every kaiako, at every level. Dive into workshops on AI, AR, and rockets; explore neuro inclusion, culturally sustaining practice, and curriculum integration; get practical with tools like Minecraft, WorldPainter, and Brisk; or collaborate on pathways, assessment, and cross-curricular design thinking. Whether you're refining your NCEA practice, reigniting creativity, or discovering new ways to inspire ākonga, these sessions are designed to spark ideas, deepen confidence, and empower you to lead change in your classroom and community. This is your chance to connect, create, and be part of shaping the future of technology education in Aotearoa.
