This image is an ecosystem, representing the complex factors influencing the learning environment of a child, all aspects need to be in balance, and all parts play a role. Learning is complex and the complexities aren’t always apparent. The Science of Learning asks teachers to look at a broader picture when deciding upon strategies to use in their classroom. It involves acknowledging that learning doesn’t occur in a vacuum, but that many factors can influence learning outcomes.
