Science in a Van science shows bring science to life right in your school with fun experiments, storytelling, and eye-catching demonstrations that make tricky ideas exciting and easy to understand.

Since 2011, Science in a Van has been creating and performing unique science shows across Aotearoa. Their brand-new show, 'Full Force!', celebrates 15 years of bringing science, laughter and learning to schools.

They make it simple – Science in a Van come to you! All you need is a hall or large learning space, and they take care of the rest. No buses required.

Science in a Van will be visiting schools with ‘Full Force!” in the Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne and Ōpōtiki areas from 10–20 February 2026.

Full Force! is a high-energy show for Years 1–8. It’ll bring the whole school together for a shared experience packed with fast-paced physics demos, flying objects, unexpected twists and plenty of Science in a Van silliness. You’ll explore gravity, friction, energy transfer and more – all while sparking curiosity and wonder.
