Set against Southland’s unique and dynamic marine environment, this conference will explore how science, policy/society, and innovation intersect to sustain our coastal and ocean ecosystems.
This year the conference theme is Wild South: Biodiversity, Blue Economies and Beyond.
The programme will focus on presentations that advance understanding of marine ecology, resource management, conservation, climate resilience, and the blue economy – from local case studies to global perspectives.
