Join this walk through the gardens and bush at Ōtari Wilton’s Bush to explore and discover the ever-changing array of mushrooms and fungi that are an essential part of its biodiversity.

Russula fungi
The Russula species of fungi form a symbiotic relationship with the native species of beech trees.
This is part of the Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush Trust’s annual guided walks programme. This year, they are on the fourth Sunday of the month, March – November, to celebrate 100 years of Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush.
