Toxoplasma gondii is a parasite spread by cats that can infect many animals, including birds. But which species are affected in New Zealand, and what influences its spread?

This talk by Katie Buschang presents results from testing native and introduced birds, revealing where the parasite is found – and where it isn’t – while exploring the environmental and ecological factors shaping its movement through wildlife.

Location: Ombrellos Kitchen and Bar, 10 Clarendon Street, Dunedin
