Kanapu Support 2026 talk series: Science, Technology and Innovation

12 February 2026 - 23 July 2026

12–1 pm

Region(s): Nationwide

Type(s): presentations

Kanapu Support presents a tri-thematic series of one-hour talks. Māori specialists, experts and leaders share their views and experiences relating to one of the three themes: pūtaiao (science), hangarau (technology) and auaha (innovation).

These provocative, insightful conversations dive deep into the issues restricting or driving Māori participation in the research, science, innovation, and technology (RSIT) sector: the vision for our future, and what is needed to have on your radar. Topics also include pathways, leadership, development, and opportunities for Māori and Māori knowledge and practice within the sector.

Registration is for all speakers within the series. All talks will be recorded and accessible on Vimeo soon after.
