Hook, Line and Thinker: Reeling students in with sharks

Teachers and educators, join us for a professional learning and development session in conjunction with our current special exhibition, Sharks.

Teachers will:

  • hear from curator of marine biology and shark expert, Clinton Duffy

  • explore natural science specimens

  • get a preview of the developing Sharks education programme.

Designed for ECE to Level 4 educators, this hands-on event builds confidence in teaching shark-related content, highlights curriculum links, and encourages school engagement with the exhibition and 2026 learning opportunities.

This event is for teachers and educators. Please bring a copy (digital or physical) of your teachers registration to the event.

Location: Learning Labs, Level 1, Auckland Museum, Auckland Domain, Parnell, Auckland
