Fairfield Project Bioblitz for schools

The Fairfield Project will hold its annual Bioblitz for schools on Friday 28 November, 9am-3pm. The morning will be spent with quadrat activities followed by expert analysis. The afternoon features rotations including stream life, pests, botanical mosaics, soundscapes, creating a beast and more.

On Saturday 29 November they will host a community festival. Activities include a nature walk, stream investigation, maramataka, sensory soundscapes, making a bird's nest, pests and trapping, botanical mosaics and maatauranga Maaori practices (mirimiri, raranga and rongoaa).

Both days are free to attend.
