Did you know that the egg that made you existed inside your grandmother? At birth, human ovaries contain up to a million eggs, yet only one or two might ever become a person. While seemingly a very wasteful system, as always, nature has its reasons.

Come along to hear PhD candidate Nicholas Anderson talk about Counting your oocytes before they hatch and find out what the ovaries are up to in this free talk.
