Engage online, at activities or events, or explore your own backyard to embrace what's always been there – look, listen, breathe and feel.

Whether it is by picking up rubbish, donating time or money to a local community group, there is always something you can do to help our environment and the native species that make Aotearoa special.

Conservation Week activities are coordinated by the Department of Conservation and have been celebrated since 1969.

For more information, including how to set up your own Conservation Week event, activities and links to other events around the motu, see: www.doc.govt.nz/news/events/conservation-week/events.
