18 November 2026 - 20 November 2026

Region(s): Canterbury

Type(s): conferences

Come along to the ChemEd BioLive biennial conference, in association with BEANZ and SCENZ being hosted at the University of Canterbury. This is an opportunity for teachers of Chemistry, Biology, and Science to connect, collaborate, and gain inspiration. The conference will feature a programme of national and international keynote speakers, offering fresh perspectives on the rapidly evolving fields of research in Biology, Chemistry and Education. It is also an opportunity to experience the unique scientific, cultural, and scenic highlights of the Canterbury region, from its regenerated city centre to the stunning Port Hills.

The conference theme weaves together the richness of learning and sharing knowledge / mātauranga— bringing together the many dimensions of cultural, scientific, and professional learning that our conference aims to achieve.
