A Decade of Critter of the Week

11 November 2025 - 11 November 2025

6–7:30 pm

Region(s): Auckland, Nationwide

Type(s): presentations

Critter of the Week celebrates a decade of storytelling, curiosity, and conservation – marking ten years since the first quirky, loveable critter made its debut on Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan on RNZ National. Hosted by Jesse Mulligan, this special live conversation with Forest & Bird CEO Nicola Toki will reflect on the most memorable moments, listener favourites, and the impact the show has had on connecting New Zealanders with nature.

This is a once-in-a-decade chance to gather with fellow Critter champions. Whether you’ve listened since episode one, teach your students about native species, or just love quirky, uniquely Kiwi stories, this event is for you. Expect laughter, learning, and a lively night out.

In-person and livestream tickets available.

Location: Pocket Bar Function Room, 592 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
