Innovative Young Minds programme (IYM) will host a week-long camp for Year 11 and 12 girls.

The IYM programme runs between 9-14 July 2017. Students will stay at Silverstream Retreat, Lower Hutt and travel each day to visit a variety of technology businesses, Crown Research Institutes and Tertiary Education Providers in the Wellington region.

Participants will experience a range of technologies through hands-on activities and be witness to innovation they never thought possible.

They will hear stories of inspiration from other women who have built careers and businesses working in the technology and innovation sector. They will mix with a wide range of women from a cross section of business sectors who think outside the square, who apply their creativity to innovate and who are passionate about science and technology.

Our intention is to inspire young women to the myriad of opportunities open to them. Knowing what is possible will help them to make informed decisions about their future education and career paths.

Cost: The cost to students is $100.00. The balance of the cost - $450 is sponsored by Rotary Clubs in the region.

15 May is the closing date for applications.
