The Edgar Diabetes and Obesity Research Centre, along with the Healthier Lives National Science Challenge and the Riddet Institute, a national Centre of Research Excellence, are co-hosting a research symposium and two workshops on 11-12 February 2019, in Dunedin.
The Focus on fibre and food monitoring symposium will examine two topical aspects of human nutrition and health:

- the importance of knowing what New Zealanders eat to inform health research and policy.
The symposium will run from midday Monday 11 February to midday Tuesday 12 February, with a symposium dinner at 6pm on 11 February. There will also be 2 workshops, one focusing on fibre and the other on food monitoring, that will be held on Tuesday afternoon.
Venue: Hutton Theatre, Otago Museum, Dunedin
