Every year the national House of Science team runs a science symposium: a day long conference for the whole community. The 2017 symposium was in Tauranga, with inspiring keynote speakers like Dr Siouxsie Wiles, Dr Victoria Metcalfe, Ruud Kleinpaste and Steve Hathaway.

This year the annual one-day symposium will be in the Hutt Valley

With an impressive line-up of keynote speakers, seminars and workshops, this will be an inspirational and fun-filled day. The Science Learning Hub will also be there and running one of the workshops.

Aimed at the whole community - from educators to engineers, parents to physicians and gardeners to grandparents there is something here for everyone!

Tickets range from $50-$95 with student, gold card and early-bird discounts.

Venue: Lower Hutt Events Centre, Laings Rd, Lower Hutt, Wellington
