The Canterbury Mathematical Association has the pleasure of hosting the biennial New Zealand Association of Mathematics Teachers (NZAMT) conference in Christchurch.
With our ‘Back to the Future’ theme this conference is simultaneously future focused and mindful of past wisdom. It embraces moving mathematics and statistics education forward with all its possibilities of incorporating innovation, expanding knowledge and technology, while at the same time, looking back, learning from and honouring what has gone before.
Deliberately broad, this theme offers speakers and delegates an opportunity to be both reflective and future-looking, to consolidate, regenerate and push the boundaries of mathematics and statistics education. The Conference will be hosted at the newly constructed St Margaret’s College campus Christchurch/ Ōtautahi.
