Te Papa’s nature exhibitions are to close for reconstruction. Mountains to Sea, Awesome Forces, and NatureSpace will be closing on April 2 while construction is underway on Te Papa’s new nature zone.
These spaces have been with Te Papa’s since it opened – 20 years they are now creating bold new exhibitions to reflect our changing world.
While some of the favourites will be making a return in 2019, there will be lots to that won’t be.
Say your final farewells to the Mountains to Sea, Awesome Forces and the NatureSpace Discovery Centre with a day of storytelling, craft activities and adventure trails. Tell Te Papa your favourite NatureSpace thingy and memory and be in to win prizes and the chance to have it included in Te Papa’s very special time capsule!
