The Story Collider is dedicated to true, personal stories about science. This two-hour workshop offers an introduction to the art and science of narrative.

You'll get a taste of the creative process and craft that goes into effective storytelling, as well as a peek into some of the cognitive neuroscience and psychology that make stories so powerful. Come for lecture, discussion, and the opportunity to analyze successful story structures and techniques.

This workshop is open to all interested researchers, students and science communication professionals. SCANZ members can register at a discounted rate.
