This 2-day workshop run by NIWA will look at UV radiation in New Zealand and its effects on both the environment and human health.

There will be an icebreaker function on the evening of 4 April, followed by 2 days of workshop sessions, with 20-minute presentations. Foci of the workshop will include:

  • Ozone, climate, and UV radiation
  • UVI & its effective communication
  • The role of apps/digital technology
  • Balancing the need for vitamin D against the need for avoiding skin damage

Registrations are now open. Please register early. The Early Bird registration rate applies only until 15 December 2017. The registration site includes fields for submitting your proposed title(s) and short abstract.

The cut-off day for accepting titles is 15 January 2018, when presenters will be advised whether their paper is accepted for oral or poster presentation.
