Celebrate Christmas with end-of-year drinks at Cocktails + Chemistry! Bring your friends along to this tasty night out for budding mixologists, the ultimate Friday night out at Otago Museum!

Learn to make specialty cocktails from The Alchemist, shake up a Peach Cosmo, muddle a Vanilla Berry Smash and stir a Watermelon Mule in this one-off interactive workshop with a special Christmas twist! Quench your thirst for knowledge with our science team who will be running demos and experiments linked to the chemistry of your cocktails!

Participants will grow their cocktail know-how as they progress through each special recipe, learning the fundamentals of cocktail making and the chemistry behind making the perfect drink. You’ll even experiment with new flavour combinations and techniques to craft your own personalised cocktail. Throughout the session you’ll be served a selection of delicious tasting plates to accompany your drink, so you won’t go hungry!

Package includes:

  • Fun, hands-on cocktail-making workshop

  • Three tasting plates to share

  • Science demonstrations between cocktails

$85 per person, $18+ only
