Science and literacy - making connections

Join Lyn Rogers in this free, interactive online PLD session designed to make connections between science and literacy. We will identify a range of strategies designed to deliberately incorporate literacy learning opportunities into science contexts. We will discuss how science learning can support literacy learning, how this differs from developing scientific literacy and how the two can be complementary.

This will be valuable for both primary and secondary school teachers. This session will be followed up by two further webinars, one designed for secondary level on 31 September and one for primary level to be held on 26 October.
