The New Zealand College of Public Health Medicine (the College) is the professional body representing the medical specialty of public health medicine in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The 2023 conference theme is Ka mua, ka muri: Public health in times of transition.

The programme will include sessions covering topics such as:

  • working effectively for equity in the relational space
  • considerations in climate change and managed retreat
  • developing cultural safety
  • aspirational thinking to achieve Pae Ora
  • community-led change
  • constitutional reform
  • artificial intelligence implications
