The CitSci ThinkTanks are networking meetings open to all interested people to join. They are held on Zoom – no pre-registration necessary – just click the Zoom link on the day.

They are a great way to:

  • discuss updates on the latest developments both here and abroad
  • ask questions and look for advice about anything related to citizen science (e.g. funding, resources, know-how from people doing similar things … )
  • meet new people and connections
  • hear about new projects, and
  • collaborate with others in the design of new initiatives and ideas!

Format

Each ThinkTank will be faciliated by one of the members. Prior to each ThinkTank participants are invited to forward any particular discussion topics they would like to discuss in the session. This helps the facilitator to cover the main interests of those present in the time available – so please do! Simply email your suggestions, hot topics and/or curly questions to citsci.nz@gmail.com.
