Aotearoa lakes is a citizen science initiative undertaking lake research and restoration.

Lakes and wetlands are diverse and critical ecosystems that are often forgotten. When we think about Aotearoa’s water quality and biodiversity, we often think about our rivers and oceans. Our lakes are often the most impacted and overlooked, Aotearoa lakes wants to change that.

In this Q&A they will give an update on all of their current projects and what is in the pipeline. Feel free to ask anything lake related, or freshwater in general. Some prizes will be given away in the live chat.
