On 1 October 2021, it will have been five years since the online citizen science project Stall Catchers was launched. It has now generated 12.4 million annotations for 1.4 million vessel segments, reducing 25 years of Alzheimer's data analysis into just 5 years.

To reflect on this accomplishment and celebrate the innumerable contributions that have made Stall Catchers a thriving project, a special 5-year anniversary hangout will be live streamed, hosted from the Cornell biomedical lab where the Alzheimer’s research takes place.

There will be lots of special guests, including some of the folks who had an early hand in the project, Alzheimer’s researchers who have sent their data to Stall Catchers to be analyzed, and some of the catchers you see every day in the online chat.

To attend the event and access the live Q&A, please pre-register here. See the Stall Catchers website.

Note this is being held at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) on 1 October – we have converted the time to NZDT.
