The Secondary Chemistry Educators of New Zealand (SCENZ) and the Biology Educators’ Association of New Zealand (BEANZ), in conjunction with Auckland University of Technology, are pleased to welcome you to the biennial conference for chemistry and biology educators.

Highlights of the conference include internationally recognised speakers such as Margaret Brimble and Judith Bennet and a half day session focusing on mātauranga Māori. There will also be opportunities to catch up on the latest scientific research and attend hands on practical activities, but most sessions will relate to pedagogical approaches that enhance learning in senior chemistry and biology. Exhibitors will also be displaying their latest resources and products throughout the conference.

The Hub's Associate Director, Andrea Soanes will be running a workshop on Sustainability Education with Lynnette Rogers.

Have a chat with Andrea at the Science Learning Hub stand – Wednesday only!

Venue: AUT, 55 Wellesley Street East, Auckland
