Pōneke Wellington is a vibrant city, bursting at the seams with opportunities for your ākonga!

Whatever you are working on with your students from exploring art, history, politics, nature, science or technology, there is a huge range of high quality experiences on offer for your school in our capital city.

Education providers from 20 different institutions in Wellington have come together to create an event that you won’t want to miss! Come along for a morning at Te Papa, where there will be a wide variety of PLD sessions to choose from, as well as an expo area packed with information about our institutions. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking with other attendees, with morning tea provided.

There will be 9 PLD sessions on offer, with topics such as 'Precious taonga and ākonga', a collaboration between Wellington Museum and the National Library, 'Statues don't teach, teachers teach', from Manatū Taonga and 'Who's the boss?' from Parliament and Government House.
