Callaghan Innovation runs the C-Prize competition every two years. The challenge is to come up with technology solutions that deliver solutions to real industry problems.
The bold people who participate in C-Prize challenges have their innovations reviewed and recognised by a panel of industry professionals, prominent investors and entrepreneurs. Cash prizes and international market exposure are up for grabs.
The challenge has 3 themes: Live Healthier, Work Safer and Play Smarter. You can choose to participate in one or more of the challenges.
The prizes are significant: up to 10 finalist teams will each be awarded a NZ$35,000 prize package. The grand-prize winner will be awarded a NZ$100,000 prize package.
