The Royal Society of New Zealand Te Apārangi will be celebrating its 150th Anniversary from April until October 2017. As part of our celebrations we want to give school students an opportunity to ask our experts some questions.

The ‘Ask me a question’ programme will be focussing on a particular topic each month and primary school students (up to Year 8) are invited to submit a question on that topic.

Royal Society of New Zealand experts will then select two questions per week to answer, and these will be posted on the Royal Society of New Zealand website and sent out to schools around the country.

If your question is selected you will not only get an answer, but will get a certificate from the Royal Society of New Zealand.

Each month has a different ‘Ask me a question’ topic, such as Space/astronomy, Technology or Social science/globalisation.

Visit the RSNZ website to learn more and to find out how to submit your question: http://royalsociety.org.nz/150th-anniversary/ask-me-a-question/
