This professional learning session will focus on using the whio/blue duck as a context to build teachers’ confidence in supporting their students to explore their environment.

Shanthie Walker from DOC and Lyn Rogers will use the Whio Forever and other Department of Conservation resources to model a process of student inquiry into conservation.

This session is designed for both primary and secondary school teachers. All participants will receive hard copies of the DOC Whio Forever resource. It can be viewed online at www.doc.govt.nz/education-whio.

We will send you a reminder email before the professional development session.
