Professor Nigel French, Director of the NZ Food Safety Science and research Centre as part of
Cafe Scientifique will hold this free talk on food safety.
Nigel is at the forefront of food safety research internationally and advises governments, the food industry and international bodies, including the World Health Organisation, on how to protect consumers and food companies from the impact of foodborne pathogens, using the latest scientific advances.
His talk will provide a candid assessment of the safety of our food and food production systems, and a view on how to safeguard the health and wellbeing of both our domestic and international consumers.
