Centre for Bioengineering, University Of Canterbury
The Centre for Bioengineering, physically based in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Canterbury, brings together the many different specialties needed to develop and research new ideas at the junction of biology, medicine and engineering.
The centre aims to bring together the different specialties of researchers and provide a link to allow collaboration between its members to develop advances in biomedical and bioengineering areas.
The centre’s membership covers staff and researchers within the University of Canterbury as well as those in the Christchurch School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Canesis Ltd.
