Scion
Scion is one of nine independent Crown Research Institutes (CRIs), with approximately 350 staff based at three New Zealand locations – Rotorua, Wellington and Christchurch.
Scion’s activities include a range of research and development programmes that build on the organisation’s expertise in plantation forestry, to include the development of bio-based materials, energy systems, consumer products and environmentally-friendly processes from renewable resources and waste streams.
