University of Canterbury Department of Geography
The Department of Geography at the University of Canterbury is a diverse department undertaking research across multiple areas. There are three research clusters within the department:
- Health and Environment
- Earth Atmosphere Processes
- Culture, Politics and Society.
Research is conducted across the full extent of the Department’s profile map, in many different scales of project, with many different sources of funding, and involves many different types of research methodology, including scientific processes, computer modelling and social science research. The department also participates in a wide range of local and international research collaborations.
