Activity idea
In this activity, students design and build boats and are encouraged to use the scientific method through testing different boat designs.
Instructions
Whether you are in a yacht, a luxury cruise liner or a canoe, all boats have one thing in common – they must float. Boat builders must think carefully about their designs to ensure that the boats do not just sink to the bottom of the ocean. Do you think you have what it takes to build a good boat?
