Scientists and crew members on the Tangaroa journeyed around the Ross Sea of Antarctica for 8 weeks. During this time, they investigated different forms of marine life, looking at the biodiversity of the Ross Sea environment, from the ocean surface to the seafloor 4,000 metres deep.
