New Zealand has one of the highest levels of biodiversity seen anywhere on Earth, but many of our native species are disappearing. Conservation strategies are needed that protect our endemic fauna.
Many of New Zealand’s native fungi species are threatened and may not survive for many more years. This poses a dilemma for conservationists as they struggle to protect New Zealand’s unique species.
